Corona Virus Jan 2022 - update

    By Jujitsu, 2022-01-03

2022 is not off to a great start. As of 27th December 2021, all adults contact/combat sessions indoor are under restriction and currently are forbidden. Sessions for children are not affected and coaches must wear a face covering when they conduct sessions. All staff and volunteers are advised to work from home and to keep travel down to a minimum. Those who must attend work must wear a mask and keep a minimum of 1metre of social distance from others.

We will update the official guidance document online and keep you informed as developments occur.

To All Members of the SJJA

The United Kingdom Anti Doping Agency have developed an assurance framework clearly detailing how each national governing body complies with the arrangements to Keep Sport Clean. The Scottish Ju Jitsu Association supports their steps to keep sport clean and your governing body is working towards full compliancy.

The UKAD's new initiative to raise awareness involves Squeaky (viz., being squeaky clean) the duck sending out positive messages to all involved in sport that those in sport are participating on a 'level moral playing field'. Keep your eyes peeled for Squeaky.
